While the dates are delicious, the packaging is terrible. The dates, which are very soft, were all smushed together on one side of the box such that twenty percent of the dates were crushed. This is unacceptable.

Some of the dates -- the ones that are fresher, plumper, less dry and deep-wrinkled -- are excellent. Others are good, but more ordinary.
The box includes no indication of weight, which is confusing.

I have purchased more than 5 boxes of the 11 lbs. boxes of these dates and they are great and my family loves them and makes an excellent snack. But unfortunately, each box we receive is short anywhere from 1.5 - 2 lbs. I have sent numerous messages through emails and Facebook and I don’t get a reply at all and being ignored!! This is totally cheating the customers and I noticed some other customers mentioned the same thing! So for all the people out there, when you receive your order please weigh it and make sure you get what you pay for. If I don’t hear from Omavi Dates soon, I will report it to the BBB.
